06/04/2024 ChatGPT Widespread Outage

Greetings.
I am unable to connect to chatgpt on my plus account and it has been down for 48 hours.
Is the problem general?

Excellent  thank you so much

It has been fixed for me last night. But something is broken. It cannot code anymore, it does not follow the most simple instructions, it ignores questions and repeats previous replies.

It somehow received a lobotomy last night.

For me it is as useful as when the server were down.

This worked for me! Thanks man. Hope your pillow is cold and fresh tonight.

Greetings.
I feel confused with the version of ChatGPT-plus.
These problems that are happening as customers who bet on this solution offered by ChatGPT, what benefits does paying for it have over using it for free.
I feel that in some way the user is not being valued.
This is not a criticism of OpenAI’s ChatGPT, but a mixed feeling about how the platform is progressing.

When you’re work at this kind of scale, small changes can break big things - particularly when trying to transition to a larger scale. I don’t think the issue had anything to do with paid vs unpaid - it obviously affected something shared by both. I’m honestly quite surprised more doesn’t break and more often. It was a pain though - I was in the middle of some work so it set me back some time. During which time I actually had to work it out for myself! And realised how much time it has been saving me.

Prior to signing on the chat feature works fine. After using my Google SSO, the page throws a CORS error and no chats get sent. This seems very related to yesterday’s outage.

A cross-origin resource sharing (CORS) request was blocked because of invalid or missing response headers of the request or the associated preflight request . To fix this issue, ensure the response to the CORS request and/or the associated preflight request are not missing headers and use valid header values. Note that if an opaque response is sufficient, the request's mode can be set to no-cors to fetch the resource with CORS disabled; that way CORS headers are not required but the response content is inaccessible (opaque).

This worked for me. I was able to login with incognito window. Then cache clear with hard refresh fixed the issue in cached window.

please help me to fix CROS Policy problem!!!

For CORS issues, you just need to wait for Cloudflare or OpenAI to resolve the situation.

It existed for more than 24 hours.

There is still nothing you or anyone here can do.

So this is the arrogance of a monopoly? I only said OPENAI
