I bought 4 points in a row, and the Credit Grants in the usage show that it will expire after 1 year. Will the ones I spend money to recharge still expire?

Why its expiring?
The Support site says:

“4. Expiry and Refunds: Purchased credits expire after 1 year and are non-refundable.”
Can I get these funds back?
I believe likely no based on the support page however this link (Paid credits expired wth?) suggests this is not always the case.
