Why are support cases and feedback threads being closed?

They post updates all the time even in this thread staff responded @ShaggyBeats got responses in tickets and escalated tickets in 2 days.. Why are y’all upset? They solve tickets everyday. And you are customers if you feel they did you wrong don’t eat at the restaurant

This is not a false statement. I can find many closed threads right now. I have seen many posts be removed and know of this happening to many others. Silencing legitimate feedback always backfires, even if the feedback has anger tones.

At the end of the day, no amount of reason can reason with the unreasonable.

Easy to say, harder to actualize.

I’m not saying you are false. I’m saying there are reasons..

My ticket was escalated over two weeks ago. No response. My tickets before that were closed prematurely for the same issue. You have to make a ticket multiple times until they acknowledge it’s actually a problem. That should not happen. Waiting two weeks from escalated support should not happen

I know, I have waited weeks myself.

But if it irked me I’d just stop my membership.

Every ticket I have ever submitted in the last 3 years has eventually been resolved. But it does take time…

And the chat bot will close a ticket if it’s not detailed enough or customer service, nuance is king

We generally keep feedback threads open, even negative feedback, to get the pulse of the situation and adjudicate engineering resources. If you feel silenced, this is a concern.

I think you guys do a very good job considering the instability of the product, market, and people involved.
The past year especially, you folks seem to handle the negatives very well.

Let’s just hope we don’t get any more models that simulate human emotions… and the wave of people trying to tell everyone here that the model is ALIVE!

LOLOL

Also locked vs hidden vs deleted. They all have different meanings. Just because a thread is locked or hidden don’t mean it is gone.

Also threads lock and remove if they are combined with existing threads.

Joined just to say I am having the same issue with support not responding for over a month. It’s been a few weeks now without a response.

As other posters above have said, this is really unacceptable to go weeks without an update and it’s clearly a widespread problem if multiple users in this thread and others have posted the same.

Others in this thread say it took months to resolve an issue. There is no scenario outside of technical feature additions that should take months to sort out. This is not a good way to treat customers.

yeah but sadly some have hearts like this one :black_heart:

I’m experiencing something very similar.

I tried contacting OpenAI through the official Support chat, but the channel itself does not appear to be functioning properly. I then tried email, but that simply routed me back into the same Support system.

So the path seems to be:

Support chat → support does not function → email → back to the same Support system.

I have no clear acknowledgment, no meaningful escalation path, and no other official channel I can find.

I’m not asking for special treatment. I simply need a functioning way to report a persistent product issue.

If the designated Support channel itself is not working, how are users supposed to report that problem?

Has anyone found an actual alternative escalation route?

For me i have proper feedback for this.

  1. Support staff cant actuilly help.
  2. Theres no way to get in contact with anyone. Your best bet is privicy but they wont help for 2 months
  3. Once you get a ban, good luck, you have been flagged and will not recive support
  4. Even if you havs an issue, no one and i mean no one, will respond to emails. Not sam, taylor, greg, support, legal, privicy, disclosure. NOTHING! I own a buisness, have sent 2 offical legal notices, no response, guess im not rich enough?
  5. Does anyone actuilly fix issues or is it one robot doing everything?
  6. Even if ya start fixing an issue with someone, after 3 days the case automaticlly closes.
  7. Ban appeals dont do anything, once that 1st one goes through, thats it, thats your only shot. You missed some info or it turns out they didnt get tge contect and upheld the automated flag? Oh well, guess your banned now.
  8. Support does exist and wants to help, they just cant… or they wont… but for legal to ignore offical notices, well thats a bit weird.

Absolutely and you forgot to mention their incompetent review process, causing my 3 year account to be permanently suspended for nothing malicious I did btw. Ridiculous

Any updates? I’ve also been falsely banned and so far 0 help further
