When will my account be filled?

I have the below timeline of payments. I am subscribed to “share data” program, so I should be given free $5 for the API soon. How soon is soon? That is when will my account be filled?

Recent “Invoices” you show are likely your billings for going over your prepaid balance and running your account negative - like you just did with your current negative balance - that will also need to be settled as a monthly invoice by separate payment if it continues past month-end. An account can be into the negative balance territory for many hours before it is shut off.

You’ll have to add $6 for prepaid credit to get your account going again, and give it a positive balance.

There is a significant misunderstanding, though, regarding the complementary tokens with data sharing. If you are enrolled in the data sharing, what you get is free daily tokens that are not billed, for particular models. You just never get your usage billed in dollars for those models for initial usage under the daily token limit.

You don’t see a “$5 credit” applied - and you also don’t see a bill when the usage is qualifying.

It can be a lot more than $5 value, BTW. Approaching $5 a day if used for more expensive models.

So, to get complimentary tokens, I need to make my account balance positive again, don’t I?

I wonder why my balance ever became negative. I thought, I have enough complimentary tokens. I believe I didn’t use much.

Here is my token usage data:

You might look under billing → credit grants.

If the last time you purchased an account credit was over a year ago, it could have expired at the start of a month.

You are right: My credits expired Oct 01, 2025. (Ugh, that’s almost a cheating by OpenAI, why would my money expire?)

To use complimentary tokens, I need non-negative balance, don’t I?
