The automation platforms (n8n or make) directly throw this error message that there is no limit available. And I can’t test anything on the Open AI Playground either. A simple question like which number is larger also returns an error message that there is no budget.

I’m a little at a loss. Do I have to top up $50 just for a test? Or do I just have to wait?

According to OpenAI’s Status site, multiple services, including the Playground, are experiencing issues. Therefore, OpenAI should be aware that the Playground is not functioning correctly.

You need to actually pay an amount to have as a reserve, the limit is set on the amount of money you already payed.
