I was using ChatGPT to help with my campaign, especially with world building as I can easily get off topic and lose my train of thought, HOWEVER, after being gone for a few months I come back expecting the same, accurate, comprehensive system I had before my unexpected hiatus, and instead half my campaign is gone, the notes I made for myself gone, important factions completely renamed, important NPC’s that I can’t remember all the details for, gone. And the kicker, after looking back through the thread I could see where the information was supposed to be because there were huge leaps in the progression of the story that made it impossible to connect anything together, especially for me, THE WRITER. I am heavily disappointed with the obvious, and egregious, downward spiral of the quality of ChatGPT-4. Whatever the developers have done to cause such a drastic decrease in product quality should be found, and reversed before anyone else has the unfortunate circumstance of losing months of work like I did.
