@OpenAI_Support just tried to verify my organization and it succeeded, but the platform console now says “your identity has been used to verify an org in the last 90 days and cannot be used”.
Same problem here. I can’t verify my organization because I already used my DNI to verify my old personal account. Now, when I try to verify my organization in my business account (using the same DNI), the process fails with an error saying the link has expired.
Context: I migrated from a personal Plus account (including all memories, chats, etc.) to a business account, where I am the admin and owner.
MONTH OF OCTOBER, 2025, still a very very very real issue.
You would think after ~6 months you would realize you need to migrate to a different, better, verification process. away from Persona… Incredible that it is THIS difficult to get verification.

Having the same issue. I was able to successfully complete the persona check (or so I thought) but my organization still isn’t verified and I’m unable to try again.
Also having this issue. Verification was successful on the persona side but my account didn’t update. When I click the link to verify again I am having the same issue as everyone else.

Same issue. Yesterday I bought credits and tried to verify my org. First attempt to verify my ID failed, but the second one went through and I took the headshot. Persona said it was successful, but then there was nothing on the OpenAI side.

There is some info here - particularly they don’t allow retries? Also some suggestions at the bottom like making a new API key, but nothing has worked. Come on guys, with a bajillion dollar evaluation, can we get this very basic functionality working or some actual support? Kind of crazy you can dump a bunch of money into account then not be able to use it.

I successfully verified yesterday, but the “Verify Organization” button is still displayed.
Today, I see the message below, but trying again still doesn’t work.
Wow looks like it a never resolved issue. As individual user who just had the exaact problem I think i just straight go to ask for a refund rather than waiting in void.
I completed the verification, but it still asks me to verify. As I need access to the GPT5 API key, we need to verify ourselves
Exactly my experience. Came to check in this morning, saw that message yet still getting session expired.
Also having this issue – is there any timeline on resolution?
We are still experiencing this issue. As of this morning, we do see a “We recently fixed an issue affecting verification. Please try verifying your organization again.” notification on the settings page but we are unable to try verifying our organization again.
I think they may have actually fixed it. I came to the page, attempted again, and it spun for much longer. Then it said it was verified!

We are also still unable to successfully verify. Persona says the verification was successful, but our dashboard says otherwise, and attempts to “re-verify” are thwarted by errors:
