Usage Tier upgrade from 1 to 2 for Open AI API

Hi OpenAI Support Team,

I hope you’re doing well. I’d like to request an upgrade of my API usage tier from Tier 1 to Tier 2.

I recently added $100 in credit to my account, but I’m still limited by the Tier 1 rate limits. I’m using the API inside Clay, and the current limits don’t allow to use api in clay.

It’s been over 6 days since I credited my account, but my tier hasn’t been upgraded yet. I’m not a developer, so I’m unsure how else to make use of the API outside of Clay. I would really appreciate your help in upgrading my tier so I can start using the API properly.

You must have waited for over 7 days before making your additional payment since the first.

Tier is only recalculated at the time of making a new payment, and your qualifications are only re-examined at that time.

You can add another $5 after total elapsed time is met for a tier (7+ days since the first payment for tier 2 or 3.)

Tier 1 will have a maximum balance of $100 also. That may prevent you from purchasing more credit until you spend down the existing balance with usage.
