The criteria is only evaluated when a new payment is made.
You will need to make another small payment for credit purchase, now after the elapsed time requirement since the initial payment.
If your account balance is still near the $100 of your current maximum, you will need to use some existing credits to get the balance down to where you can make the additional card payment.
