I upgraded to Tier 4 last December. Why am I still unable to access it now? Is your update rollout order unreasonable?

Maybe they are having problems with compute capacity.
For EVERYBODY who is IN Tier 3 or above and still has NO access to o3 mini, here is the ONLY answer you need to know to stop wasting time trying to search for an answer:
OpenAi clearly said that EVEN IF YOU ARE TIER 3 it does NOT GURANTEE you will have ACCESS to o3 - They have SECURITY MEASURES (that they cannot disclose the criteria for) of WHICH USERS they will GIVE ACCESS TO RIGHT AWAY - Therefore - if you are TIER 3 or above without o3 mini access it means YOU SIMPLY CANNOT DO ANYTHING BUT WAIT untill the NEXT BATCHES where you will be INCLUDED. So THERE IS NOTHING ELSE YOU CAN DO - You just WAIT untill they feel that “your usage style” is acceptable and will INCLUDE YOU in the next batch of o3 mini access. Thats it, for now your only work around is to use the chatGPT web browser and choose o3 mini high and SIMULATE the response to the best of your ability. Yes this is NOT the best way because a lot of applications are not that simple, but its your ONLY option for now -

I upgraded to tier3 because of documentation said only tier 3 and above can access o3-mini but I guess it is not the case.
I am just confused and frustrated as there are conflicts in the documentations and what actually happened.

Maybe they’re busy fighting with DeepSeek and forgot to take care of their customers. They should add some notes on the API tier level page to inform people about the situation

I’m in the same boat in that I upgraded to tier 3 yesterday expecting immediate access. I now need to assess the risk as it’s now not clear that access will be granted anytime soon. To help me (and maybe others in a similar situation), can anyone who had this issue last week comment on whether they have since been given access? If so, were you tier 3 or tier 4? I’m trying to work out if adding more credits to get to tier 4 will help, or if it’s just a matter of waiting and hoping.

Same boat! Had account since 2022 and made payments for a while now! Not much but somethin1 Just upgraded to Tier 3 by way of adding credits and still no access!
Also got tricked by this page. Unacceptable!
