I had a Usage Limit lock me out of Codex for the first time last night (October 30 2025 Australia) after being a Plus member for 3 months. It said I could start again at 9:53am, so I waited and dealt with ChatGPT who led me down another time wasting rabbit hole. When Codex unlocked, it completed half a task, stopped and said Usage Limit reached again and to come back at 6:43pm. What the hell is going on? Its enough that I’m not being paid to beta test this broken software. I don’t expect to be punished for spending hundreds of hours waiting 4-5 minutes for quick answers to “Why?” only to be responded to with unrelated Task lists that take 4 hours to complete and break my software 99% of the time. My God. What a nightmare. Pity there are no alternatives. Having a cheery, confident voice that says “Perfect!” and moving on after ever failure with steamrolling recommendations on how to setup the new website I’m supposedly making even after 3 months of development that it can remember as clearly as a goldfish remembers the other side of the pond and then just guesses which files might exist. Shocking. Not ready for market. I deserve compensation for the stress.
