Urgent Request for Manual Review — 2 Annual Prepaid Business Seats Locked After Disputed Third-Seat Charge, Case #11532509

@Prashant_Pardesi,

I’m sorry to tag you directly, but I noticed that you previously helped users with similar ChatGPT Business workspace deactivation cases by reviewing their case numbers and coordinating with the appropriate internal teams.

Could you please personally help review and coordinate the resolution of my case?

Case Number: 11532509

My ChatGPT Business workspace originally had 2 seats prepaid on an annual plan. An additional third-seat charge was later generated, and after that payment failed, the entire workspace was deactivated. As a result, the original 2 annually prepaid seats and all associated workspace data are now inaccessible.

I have already contacted OpenAI Support by email and explained the situation in detail. However, the standard support agent stated that they are unable to:

  • Restore the workspace using the original 2-seat configuration;
  • Change the billing configuration recorded at the time of deactivation;
  • Determine when, how, or by whom the third paid seat was added;
  • Provide a detailed breakdown of the additional-seat charge;
  • Offer any resolution other than requiring payment for the third seat before restoring access.

Standard email support has therefore been unable to resolve the issue.

I understand that account-specific billing information cannot be handled publicly. I am not asking you to discuss private billing details here.

I am respectfully asking whether you could personally review Case #11532509, contact the relevant internal team, and help coordinate this case until an appropriate resolution is reached.

My preferred resolution is to restore the existing workspace while preserving the remaining prepaid term of the original 2 annual seats and properly reviewing the disputed third-seat charge.

The workspace remains completely inaccessible, which is interrupting our business operations and causing us to lose access to service time that has already been paid for.

Since you previously helped coordinate similar workspace reactivation cases, I would be extremely grateful for your direct assistance with this case.

Thank you very much.
