I tried to upload files in my projects several times and it always gave an error, I tried to upload them outside the project and it really worked well, it’s a bug, please try to resolve it because it makes it easier for the organization to use the project part but if I can’t upload it files in projects is very complicated for me
I contacted Support, and the AI agent informed me that it’s a known bug. I have the same thing happening to me right now in my main project, and it’s one of my most crucial files. The AI escalated the ticket to a human Support Specialist. We’ll see if anyone actually responds or solves the issue.
Update: I contacted Support and got a human named Ralph. I uploaded a HAR file and gave them the project URL. They have not replied to me yet, but I’m continuing to troubleshoot. I created a new Project in hopes of moving all of my original project’s chats into a new project, per Ralph’s suggestion. Before taking that kind of time, I decided to test Project file uploading. I have found that the Project file upload function quits working (“hangs”) after the 10th file. In other words, everything works fine until I try to upload the 11th file. This is stupid because I pay for Plus and I expect to be able to upload up to 20 files per project. My original project is cooked all the way around. I can’t even delete files to make room. I’ve consolidated some files to go further under the 20 file limit.

Ha! I KNEW it!!! I kept telling them that it’s THEM and NOT me. They kept trying to blame my computer or my browser. I have a PC and a MacBook Pro - Projects are borked with both. I use the latest versions of everything. It sucks that it’s happening, but I’m relieved that I’m not the only one experiencing this. Supposedly, it’s a known bug. I wish they’d fix it because NONE of the other AIs are as good as ChatGPT for how I use it. Grok’s Project function isn’t nearly as good and my long prompts don’t work with it.
