As of a few days ago, ChatGPT will not read files that I upload into projects. It can either hallucinate or this can happen:
This happens no matter what platform I am on, iOS app, Android app, Webapp. And no matter what browser I use.
I appreciate you fixing this.
edit: It seems the only time they do work is when they are uploaded through the Windows app. Everywhere else makes the files inaccessible.
I have the same issue when using the webapp in my business account. Uploading documents inside a chat works fine, but inside a project it either doesnt find any content or ends up in an analysis loop.
I can’t access to my projects neither ! I don’t know how to do beacuase I have an emergency giving my work. I have worked on it since hurs and days I hope they will resolve this soon pls !

I created some project folders, but now I can’t access an image from my chat that I dragged into one of the projects. Have I just lost my Spanish workbook that I was using for language study? How can I fix this so I can get it back? Thank you.
Hey, I am also same issue that the project files are inaccessible inside the project chat when the chat goes long. I think you can open your project’s section in any browser and tap to file to download it.
Also, sometimes I noticed that “editing” the project instructions will make the file quickly accessible inside the chat… 
I am having this issue right now. 5.2 is doubling down that it can not do it… so I cussed it out, yesss, with all the bad words and absolute vitriol for how much I hate it… and it read the file. I do think it is strange I have to become livid to get it to do its job.
