I am reaching out for assistance with an unresolved issue on the API platform. It’s been over a month, and I have been unable to reset the organization verification link.
As a result, I cannot access the GPT-3 (o3) models with my work account and have had to use my personal email for API access, which is resulting in unexpected charges.
I have already tried the following:
Using incognito/private browsing mode
Switching to a different computer/browser
Contacting support via chat, but have not received a solution
Could you please help me reset my biometrics verification link or provide guidance on how to resolve this? neither support@openai.com nor talking to a online support person (probably a bot) helps.
It sounds like you have one account that is ID verified. You will not be able to verify another organization for another 90 days yourself, another caveat of this preposterous scheme that has no understanding of business patterns nor accommodates consultants that develop API products on spec.
If you can find another willing party, they can be invited to the organization as an owner, and then they can proceed through the same process to ID-verify the account.
Sure - just make sure the other person has switched the platform site’s organization selector at upper-left to the target organization they are now made a member of, otherwise they’d only be verifying their personal account (and wouldn’t be able to proceed without adding a payment method).
And note that they can spend API credits also as long as they are a member.
