Unable to receive verification code email for ChatGPT | help.openai.com doesn't work

Trying to log into ChatGPT today (same computer, same internet connection, I didn’t even unplug the ethernet cable), I suddenly got a webpage saying that it would send me email with a verification code. No biggie, it probably flagged me as logging in from a different device because it tends to happen on other websites too.

I haven’t received the email at all. Contacting support through help.openai.com doesn’t work - their chatbot suggests the obvious: check your spam folder, junk folder, resend the email, yada yada yada. Tried clearing cookies, using different browsers, using different computers+internet connections, trying to log in from a phone. Since none of them worked, I have no idea what to do next. It’s not as if I’m not receiving any emails on that domain. I receive other OpenAI emails, always. There’s no support email I can find. I don’t even know how to raise a ticket. What are my options?

The same issue, and creating a new account doesn’t work either. Also, password recovery doesn’t work. It says every time that the email has been sent, but it doesn’t actually get sent. Very frustrating.

Me too, tried several times. Other systems that were already logged in are still logged in though.

Same problem here. Unable to purchase the Plus subscription since I’m not able to log in on the website. My user works fine in the mac app still.

I sent a message.

I think I got a generic response some time later. It said my account wasn’t a plus account, which it is. Suggested the forgot password.

I attempted to log in again, this time it did NOT prompt me for a code and I was able to login.

I have the same problem. Can not login with Android App because none verification code received. Spam is empty too.

I encountered the same issue recently. No matter how many times I tried, I couldn’t receive the official verification code.

I am also facing the same problem. How come for more than 24 hours they can’t solve such an issue!!! Why do we have to pay monthly if they can’t find a solution? at once?
