I have a strange issue with a custom GPT. If I request a word document and download link an error is indicated. If I pivot to a standard chat it works. Not pointing fingers but maybe there is a throttle on certain features for custom GPTs?

Having the same issue. Tried to have it create documents by giving it âlibertyâ to interpret that command, and by giving it specific direction (e.g. RTF, txt, docx). No go. They all fail.

I am having the same Issue. Best I could do is to ask gpt to write the python script and then run the script on the local machine and retrieve the document.

Having the same problem. Can create Word document in a normal prompt but not a Custom GPT.
Very frustrating. The link it creates is to a âView Analysisâ popup.
Has anyone got this working?

I have the same issue. In fact, itâs now stuck analyzing.

For this to work youâll need to enable code interpreter as itâs off by default (but if you do, other users may also download the contents of your knowledge files)
Once updated try this prompt:
Generate a .docx file containing this content: [insert content].

This is because ChatGPT absolutely CANNOT generate proper Word Documents. Fails 100% of the time. It is useless for what one would expect to be a very high-value proposition for this subscription.

YEAH ITS PRETTY CRAPPY. The amount of time trying to figure it out I could have typed it in myself. Whats the point if it canât do what its supposed to be able to do. Mine wonât output anything. So frustrating.

THIS was the solution I needed for my custom GPT that did provide a download link but it never worked. And not even ChatGPT could tell me to simply tick that box. It even ACTUALLY said that custom GPTs canât create downloadable files (which is BS as we know).
Same here,
has been now over a week of continuous ridiculous messages from Chat GPT that keeps excusing for delays but the reality is that any links to download produced files are not working.
It even display links that are just text not even working links.
it has provided:
-pdf file link
-excel file link
-Google drive link
-emalied link
none of all the above ever worked!
What is going on with the service?
The Plus subscription seem, at this point, to be useless for financial analysis.
Hope someone have a real solution to all this DOWNLOAD ISSUES.
