Unable to generate an image in ChatGPT

I’ve been experiencing issues with image generation since yesterday.

Prompt: “Create an image of a dog”
Response: “It seems there was an issue generating the image. Would you like to try again or modify the request?”

Prompt: “Create a photo of a sunset”
Response: “It seems the image generation is encountering issues. If you’d like, I can suggest some other ideas or try again with a new approach. Let me know what you prefer!”

No matter the prompt, I keep receiving similar responses.

I am using the GPT-4 model, not a Custom GPT.
I verified that DALL-E is enabled under Settings > Personalization > Custom instructions.
I even deleted all my previous conversations to ensure it’s not a storage quota issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi!

In the customization section, there is an option to toggle DALL-E on and off. You can check if this is the issue.

If not, it’s likely a temporary problem. I was able to create an image with a simple prompt like ‘Image of a cat’.

I have same problem + tried different browsers and toggling Dall-e3 checkbox. I am using GPT4o and image generation does not work suddenly starting yesterday. Could someone please help?
