This has been happening regularly lately. Tried clearing memory and deleting all chats, logging out then back in. Tried every model available. Nothing fixes the issue. It appears that image generation is simply disabled across ChatGPT for a period of time, then starts functioning normally again. OpenAI should report this on their status page when it occurs so that users don’t need to check back until image generation starts working again.

Dealing with the same issue. Very disappointing to see there is no update, fix for this for so many days.

same issue, we should ask open ai about this issue, and you only need to find the offical gpts of dall e now to use this tool

Super irritating, isn’t it? I would understand if they had some downtime and put it in the status page, but not putting it in the status page puts the onus on the user to continuously check back and attempt to create an image to find out if the issue has been resolved.
