Unable to export the usage information from https://platform.openai.com/settings/organization/usage

This spinner in the modal keeps spinning

Also can see this error in the browser console everytime I come to this modal and click download

Hi and welcome!

Can you log out and back in again to the platform, clearing cookies would also be worth doing.

There have been a number of issues with Azure today. Let me know if that fixes it. I just tried it and it seems to be fine.

Logged out, cleared all the cookies and logged back in, same result.

Hi @kusumakarb,

The engineering team has looked into the issue and cannot reproduce it. I have also tested it along with a number of others and are unable to trigger that issue.

Could you please try with a different browser, also, if that does not work, can you try on another device, i.e. mobile/tablet if you are currently using a desktop/laptop.

I’m also having the same issue (and similar console error, takes a few seconds to appear after trying to download), across different browsers and laptops.

Activity download works fine, only “cost data” gives this error.

There used to be a legacy usage dashboard that could be used as an alternative, but it was pulled out today.

I’ve seen also another report here.

I am experiencing this exact same issue.

Just like aprendendo.next mentioned, the “Activity” download works perfectly, but the “Cost Data” export fails every time.

I am also trying to export as JSON for a small date range (22 days), and it just hangs on the loading screen indefinitely.

I can confirm that I’ve tried all the initial troubleshooting steps:

Multiple different browsers

Incognito/private windows

Different devices

The result is always the same. It definitely seems to be a bug with the “Cost Data” export function specifically.

Looking forward to an update on this issue.

Same here. tried various shapes of reports, been happening since Monday 2025-Oct-27 at least here as well, through today (2025-Oct-31).

Also pretty much never has been working:

In platform site usage, clicking on Chat Completions (also having Responses usage), regardless of any options you can check, you never can see the output tokens. The model-based graphs are solely for input tokens, regardless of any other options you can select.

If there was one of the two options between “input” and “output” to be working there, it would be the variable output tokens, as input tokens is deterministic and known and can be measured directly or sent to the “input tokens” endpoint.
