Hi there lets say I start a project within ChatGPT and I want my colleagues to collaborate on the same project that I started here,I want them to benefit from the ground work I have already made with ChatGPT and said project, how do I share the project on chatgpt? and not the chats, and can they build it further
You can “share” a chat. This is exactly what you are looking for.
ChatGPT - Test request and response << let’s cooperate on this.
You can write something and then click share and send the updated version.
Hi there Im not trying to share a chat, I want to share a project
Hi @einstein1 and welcome to the community.
It’s not possible to share projects right now, it’s more of a personal folder structure for your ChatGPT interactions. I do hear you though, and I’ve seen lots of users request this feature, so it’s great feedback. Thanks!
Hi there, thanks for the clarification do you think this might be a feature to consider for future versions of ChatGPT?
It feels like it should be, but I don’t really have insights into OpenAI’s roadmaps at this level. Maybe someone like @Foxalabs and @PaulBellow do, or can bring it forward in future discussions. We are all volunteers here so best we can do is just feed it upwards and hope for the best.
I have a similar situation, and as I understand it creating different GPTs is the way to do the collaborative projects you are talking about. “Projects” are not really projects in this respect, they are more like personal workspaces or desktops. GPTs can have a repository of files, project descriptions and facts, and can be shared with people on your project team. In Enterprise, this means I would create a new GPT under MyGPTs and then invite coworkers to collaborate with me on that.
Just want to give another +1 to this. I would love to be able to have “group chats” with ChatGPT and teammates, with shared context of chat history and project files. I’ve hacked together a hacky version of this in Slack with an OpeAI API license and Zapier, but persistent memory between different chats within the same project eludes me.
