I’m hoping someone can help me understand what’s going on with my billing.
I recently deleted all API keys from my OpenAI account, but I’m still seeing recurring charges. Looking at my invoice history, I have multiple charges within just the past few days:
• 2067ACAD-0030 – $79.36 (Apr 2, 2026)
• 2067ACAD-0029 – $77.41 (Apr 1, 2026)
• 2067ACAD-0028 – $78.78 (Apr 1, 2026)
• 2067ACAD-0027 – $77.77 (Mar 31, 2026)
These charges are happening very frequently — sometimes multiple times per day — even though I have no active API keys. I’m confused about where the usage is coming from.
A few things I’m wondering:
- Is it possible that a deleted API key still has in-flight requests being billed?
- Could there be a third-party integration (e.g., a plugin, OAuth app, or organization member) still consuming API credits under my account?
- Is there a usage dashboard that shows which key or project generated each charge?
- Should I also disable billing entirely or set a $0 usage limit to stop further charges?
I’ve already deleted all keys but the charges haven’t stopped. Any guidance on next steps — or whether I need to contact OpenAI support directly — would be greatly appreciated.
