SORA unavailable (May 8, 2025)

Hi Support,

I have been using sora for over a month now and just few minutes ago today (8th May 2024) as I was generating an image out of nowhere sora says service in unavailable and then when I refreshed my page it switches to saying SORA is unavailable in your country!! I live in Bangladesh and I have the chat GPT Plus subscription and on Open AI it list of supported countries for SORA, Bangladesh is also listed there. What is going on?? I make my living out of Ai content and if this is what I have to face now…It’s very disappointing and I hope it’s just an error.

I had the same issue, here’s what helped:

  1. Open your browser in incognito mode and login into chatgpt/sora. It immidiately started working for me in incognito
  2. If it worked you need to close you incognito tab and delete all the cookies. OR if you are using chrome go to settings → site settings → view permissions and data stored across site find ChatGPT and Sora, and delete both. Good luck!

I just tried it; still doesn’t work. It’s been like this for me for 5 days now.
