I’m not sure if this is the case with other browsers, but in my Chrome browser, when I begin a new chat, the share icon is in the appropriate place:
But after I enter the first question, the icon now appears in the text box, obscuring the first several characters in the text box:
Is this supposed to be a feature or something? It’s pretty annoying.
I am having the same issue. Pressing the “Share” button also does not work as expected. Any help ist very much appreciated.
This is an even bigger problem than I imagined. I can NOT access the upload icon because it is covered by the share icon!! Help!!!

Duh! Totally forgot that months ago I installed “ShareGPT” Chrome extension. That is the source of our woes. Removed it and “share” button gone.
