I’m having an issue with using ChatGPT in Safari on my MacBook. The “Attachments” and “Browse” buttons are disabled and can’t be clicked, as shown in the screenshot below. Has anyone encountered a similar problem or does anyone have an idea how to fix it?

I am having the same issue as well. I cannot upload attachments and when I request any information, I get “reasoning” before it provides a response.
I am having the Exact issue which is upsetting because I pay for plus!
If I hover over it it says “disabled for” disabled for what!?

I saw someone mention that it’s possible to switch the model at the top of the screen, but I can’t seem to do it. Does someone know why that might be happening or how I can fix it?

Same issue in FireFox on MacBook - Search and Attachments disabled without any obvious reason. ChatGPT says that this has been done system-side and cannot be changed by the end user. Does anyone have an update?
Try to change to chatgpt 4o model on ur top left. This one worked for me
same issue, out of the blue had the same problem. I found out that swapping provider solved it. I went from my starlink to mobile hotspot and as a magic the upload option reappeared. Hope this helps out others, cheers
Solved for me too. First I switched to a different model and when I switched back to the 40 model later the same day, the issue was gone. 
Please let me know how you change model as I do not see any option on the top left.
