I SUGGEST: ChatGPT Resource Availability Indicator.
Incorporate a visible indicator into the interface—a percentage, bar, speedometer, or traffic light—that allows users to see in advance their approximate resource availability, distinguishing between models and tools where applicable. The goal would be to enable both free and paid plan users to manage their work and prevent a complex task from being unexpectedly interrupted when a limit is reached.
It would be especially useful if it displayed three pieces of information: available resources, estimated time until restoration, and which specific resource is about to run out (model, file analysis, image generation, etc.). It’s not very difficult or complicated. I’d suggest something similar to a car’s dashboard:
It might be a good idea to have this information available for both free users and those of us who already pay for a plan. I’m on the Plus plan, and it doesn’t tell you absolutely anything. Suddenly, during a request, it responded that there was a condition preventing me from generating a file, and it tells you that you have to wait a certain number of hours.
