RateLimitError: Rate limit reached for default-text-davinci-003

I’ve been receiving an error while trying to use both API and the playground which goes like this:

RateLimitError: Rate limit reached for default-text-davinci-003 in organization org-XXXXXXXXX on tokens per min. Limit: 250000.000000 / min. Current: 2500000.000000 / min. Contact support@openai.com if you continue to have issues.

It never happened before and it does not matter how small my prompt is. I’m on a paid account - I’ve tried resetting the API keys and using davinci-002 with zero progress.

OpenAI is unusable for me at this point.

Has anyone experienced anything similar and managed to solve?

Just use the API
If using the API and the Playground, you will run into Error stop
