Please Help Suspicious Activity Alert

Hi everyone, I’m getting a “Suspicious Activity Alert” on my ChatGPT account and I’m trying to understand what might be triggering it.

What I already did

• Changed my password

• Logged out of all devices/sessions

• Everything looks normal on my phone/account

Has anyone seen this alert triggered by switching networks (Wi‑Fi ↔ mobile data) or Android/Chrome sessions? Any recommended checks I should do to prevent the alert from coming back?

Woke up this morning and I could not log in. Got this in email and wanted to give the community heads up to change passes etc. I do not understand what 3rd party would have access to my open AI credentials. Same here! I only activated two-factor authentication after that suspicious activity notice popped up. Also, it’s been over 24 hours now, and I still can’t access my account yet.

That can happen to VPN / Proxy users too
