Platform and playground are not working :(

Hello everyone, from some days, when I go to the https://platform.openai.com/chat/edit or platform. openai. com/playground/images or platform. openai. com/assistants, etc., I can see a long loading loader and then an empty UI. When I go to https://platform.openai.com/audio/realtime I can see “You do not have permission to access this page in this project (required permission: api.model.realtime.request). Please contact the owner of the project to assign you a role with this permission.”, but I’m the owner of the project (and this is my main account). Playground is working fine on my mobile browser, I tried to clear cookies, cache, logged out, logged in, used incognito mode, etc. - still no luck :frowning: anyone can help me with that? Thanks!

Hi,

I’ve just tried those URL’s and both seem to be working fine, so it seems to be something specific to that browser/computer. Do you have any password managers, antivirus, vpns etc enabled?

Go to “people” (members, team, whatever it is called this week), and see if you haven’t been hacked and demoted. Observe carefully the upper left selection of organization and project.

Then the anomaly must be reported to OpenAI, as you can’t gain an organization back on your own. See if “help” there works.

OpenAI Platform dashboard keeps loading. I’m Korean.

All pages are the same.

We had another report yesterday and I moved it here because it appears the issue exists but it’s affecting only a few users.
I can’t replicate it either.

I see loading spinner like for the rest of the pages :frowning:

I checked a few more things, the problem occurs in Chrome 140, Edge 140, Brave 140, even when I run a clean browser, without any plugins, in guest mode (not incognito, but it doesn’t work in incognito either).

In Firefox 143 everything loads correctly for me.

I see 38-42 HTTP requests in Chromium-based browsers and 57 HTTP requests in Firefox on the same page. (example diff - diffchecker. com /AwkZpnl7/) I can send the HAR file or other information if needed.

I have only windows defender. No VPNs, password managers, extensions, etc. It is working fine on Firefox, it is not working on Chromium-based browsers

I’m using a MacBook and trying to access the site from Korea. I checked the developer tools with Chrome, but there’s absolutely no error response. After reading someone else’s post, I thought it might be a browser issue, so I tried Safari and Firefox, but the login button doesn’t even work in those two browsers. I have no antivirus or VPN.

Try refreshing this page and the login button will start working

Trying a completely different browser is as good a “refresh” as someone can do. So no, the login button didn’t start working for them.

Dude, why are you talking when you have no idea about it? I can reproduce this error, and refreshing the page helps to solve it. Please refrain from commenting on my posts, as you are only causing confusion.

Seems like everything is working back without any change on my side, not sure if I should close this topic

Must have been all the refreshing that fixed the OpenAI backend servers for the platform site.

I wish I could block people like you.
