When will payment using PayPal be available? I don’t like using my credit card on the web. I have had scam in the last few months.
Probably not for regulatory reasons as stated here. As long as you keep your API keys private, there shouldn’t be any issues.

It’s totally worth using your credit card, but if you’re still uncomfortable then unfortunately there aren’t many options. Good luck!
We don’t use credit cards in my country as we have an electronic debit card we can use everywhere. I need to either pay with paypal or iban otherwise I’ll never be able to use chatgpt plus.
I pay for ChatGPT Plus via paypal. Just subscribe via the android app and you are able to choose paypal.
If you live in the US or Germany and have the “Google Wallet” app on your phone, you can add PayPal as payment card. It creates a fully working Mastercard debit card. The full details (card number, 3-digit securitiy code etc) are visible in your Paypal app or on their website under “wallet”, it works just like any other Mastercard debit card.
This how you do it:
- On your phone, open the Google Wallet app
- At the bottom, tap Add to Wallet
- Tap Payment card
- Tap PayPal
- To link your PayPal account, follow the on-screen instructions
