I am in the same situation.
I got the plus subscription specifically to be able to use Sora for video only to be met with this error. I naively thought it would just be a 24hr limitation for new accounts but its been 4 days now and this is extremely scummy on Open AI’s part

I sent an enquiry yesterday to ask how long the temporary restriction would be, and now I can create videos. Not sure if it is related or just coincidence

Thanks to everyone who supported me regarding this issue. The good news is that my video generation option is now active, and I am able to use Sora to create videos.
I hope others have also received this feature. If anyone hasn’t got it yet, please let us know.

Plus user who has been subscribed for a long time too. I just hadn’t pressed the Sora button on the account yet.

They offer refunds.
I asked for a refund like 10 hours ago because ChatGPT was really slow the entire working day. Few hours ago i just received an email confirming the refund.
