We applied back and forth dozens of times without being given more credit or a single letter back, and I think they are arrogant.

They do not have unlimited resources, nor do they have unlimited staffing to review requests.

They need to ensure they do not overextend past their capacity to support and they do not allow users to run up API charges they will not be able to pay, that’s why they have the limits.

If the situation is as you describe, I’m sure as soon as someone is able to get to the request they will extend the limit on your API access.

In the future you should keep an eye on your usage growth and submit requests for further increases to your limits well in advance of hitting the limit.

Let’s hear some specifics. What is your current limit that you’re asking to be increased?

I was testing the whisper-api, and in 90 minutes I used all of my balance for the month -$120. Yes, requested increase, but it also takes 7-10 business days to go troughi. Would be nice to add $5 extra, or something.
The help and support team must be really busy, so if you have a problem like this, you won’t be able to use from days - which is really frustrating :frowning:

$120 is so little, you’d think they’d make it easier

No, they didn’t. I have been applying continuously for a week, and I haven’t received any response. You know, $500 is not enough to allow our customers to have effective usage.

This experience is very bad!

Open a second account? I have read about people having two. One personal and one business.

Also Azure has Openai Models too, which can be deployed.
