Only 1 Voice Transcription per Message? Recent Update or Glitch?

Did they recently change ChatGPT’s voice transcription feature?

I used to be able to start recording, stop to review the transcription, and then continue recording in the same message. But now, once I stop, the microphone button disappears, and I have to send the message immediately. This is frustrating because I used to be able to collect my thoughts before continuing. This just changed between yesterday and today, and it’s disrupting my workflow.

To clarify, I’m not referring to ChatGPT’s instant voice feature—I’m talking about its voice transcription for text input.

Has anyone else noticed this? Is this an intentional update or a bug?

I’m having the same issue and I feel the same. It was really nice to have the record button available As many times as we wanted within a single message. for the workflow now I have to cut the text paste it in notes bring it back. It becomes much more cumbersome.
