I know this has been a known issue previously however wanted to check with the community…anyone having any issues not receiving the auth code via email from OpenAI?
Mine is a direct email login (not attached to apple, google sso etc.). This is the second time it’s happened today and was able to log back in without auth code requirement after restarting my browser however just had to delete cookies and now back to square one.
Have checked my email routing and can confirm no email has been received nor forwarded by OpenAI servers…so not quite sure what the go is…and needless to say frustrating not to be able to access budget, usage, projects etc.
Posting this on a newly created account…because obviously cannot log in to OpenAI.
Specifically talking about API account access, not OpenAI Chat GPT.
I experience this sort of problem quite often. I often use VPNs and last time when I was connected through a US server I did not receive the emails right away. After connecting to another server, let’s say for example Germany, I received the emails right away. It was also interesting to see that earlier triggered emails arrived later than the new ones.
This behavior happens more often in the described way for me and is a show stopper.
I think there is a general issue or feature related to email delays…
What would explain such occurrences? Seems like there is more then just email transfer done when they have been delayed so much.

P.s.: Sure it would be great if this issue was looked at. Sometimes this can be very frustrating, especially when arriving at another workstation, but then not being able to use the AI environment I need for my work.
After I finally got access, randomly after trying multiple times, I ended up creating two accounts with OAuth via Google and linking them to my API account so I have more than one way of accessing. Not ideal but it is a solution that has saved me a few times!
