I’m writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration. After being a loyal user of ChatGPT for such a long time, it’s disheartening to see that we are not being given access to Sora. This feels like a letdown from a company I’ve trusted.
Moreover, when I subscribed to the Team plan, it clearly listed all the features available to Plus users, yet we still can’t access Sora. Is this part of a new strategy to push users into purchasing more accounts? It certainly seems like you’re prioritizing profit over user satisfaction, and that’s concerning.
I truly hope you reconsider your approach and offer better support and access to your loyal users who have been part of this journey with you.
Not sure if you are aware my friend, but ChatGPT Teams accounts are more expensive than a Plus account. Also it was stated that teams accounts would have access to all features of a plus account. Lawsuit incoming for ChatGPT.
I paid annual plan for Team account. Just got into Sora, but shocked to see the pop up wanting me to “upgrade” to Plus or Pro. I thought “Team” is an upgrade from Plus. Am I wrong?
I a paying $10 a month extra for two accounts on a team plan as I was told it had everything Plus had with higher limits, so essentially Im paying for two plus accounts and then some. But plus gets sora and teams get the shaft? Why TF am i paying extra when I could pay you less and get more?
Same issue here. I have a Team account, with 2 people on it, which costs me $10 more a month than what 2 individual Plus accounts would cost ($600 vs $240 x 2), and we don’t have access to Sora. This is ridiculous and I may be rethinking my annual renewal in January.
It also feels like its nearly impossible top contact support about this issue since ChatGPT goes to the Help Articles which point back to ChatGPT).
The Team plan is an upgrade from Plus; there’s no sense in the message asking to upgrade to Plus. It seems like the Team plan was neglected—this is unacceptable. Moreover, not only should it provide access, but it should also offer greater access with more credits, as it’s a more expensive plan that is paid upfront for the entire year! I hope OpenAI fulfills its part, or people will start filing lawsuits.
Deny Teams users access to download their data (Yes, exporting data is still not available on Teams)
Don’t allow any option to migrate back
Block access to Sora for Teams users
Release ChatGPT Pro for $200.00 a month
What a horrible thing to do to your users. It’s unfortunate so many people were scammed by the Teams plan from ScamAI. I will not be paying the $200 a month subscription, switching to Claude
I just added the Plus package so I can get access now to Sora. I am holding on to the Teams subscription for another month in the hope that they might reconsider. I must say, from the look of things Teams seems to be a forgotten project and they may be trying to phase it out. I sure hope not. Would be nice to have a middle tier between Plus and Pro.
Exact same for me. I switched for Team because of the increased cap limits and because it was presented as the ChatGPT Plus upgrade, and it appear that is not exactly the case anymore.
Like others, i’ll probably reconsider subscribing to 2 plus account instead of Team, if nothing is done before my renewal…
I feel the same, I feel completely cheated. It does not even make sense. I am so sick of this type of blatant BS. I mean here I went and did an annual subscription for 2 people on teams at $60 pm, and we less. I feel like I was robbed. OpenAI felt like a fun community, now it’s just legal battles and unfair practices and no response, just avoidance and no accountability because they feel they are above needing client.
It’s amazing seeing here and in other threads all the new users whose first post is to complain about this. Surely OpenAI cares about community goodwill?
This is so unfair. I have been a ChatGPT enthusiast for over 2 years now and have paid for teams ever since it came out. I thought we would get access to Sora. Nope. Seems like we are getting scammed. Going to delete my teams subscription this week and downgrade to plus. Not worth paying the extra $40. If you guys sue them lmk, they did breach contract.
