My bill was successfully issued on Aug 2 and then paid. It exceeds the minimum threshold of 1$. However, I have not yet received the gpt-4 api access.
Is there something else I must do? I have been on the wait list for several months now.

Not sure if this helps, but they often give access without notice. Have you checked on the playground that you don’t have access to model gpt-4?

The additional developers that were given GPT-4 access based on prior billing was done at the start of July, and was unannounced before they were added, and is not a continuing or automatic process.
So, wait until OpenAI decides they have the capacity to add new users.
