GPT-4 API access with 'Pay as you go' plan?

Hi there. I enrolled in the Pay as you go plan and I’d like to try the GPT-4 model, but I don’t have access yet. Will it be available for me or is it only for users with prepaid credits? I’ve already pay more than $2 in the last two months.

I also read another reply sugesting switching to paying for credits, but will I still be able to switch back to the Pay as you go plan?

If you have paid an API bill of greater than $1 then you should have access, note that you must of paid the bill and not just ran up a bill of 2$ that you have not yet paid.

If you have met all of the above requirements but you still do not have GPT-4 you should reach out to help.openai.com and use the support bot in the bottom right
