My app has stopped working and the chat bots are no longer answering questions

Good afternoon.

I can’t understand why my application stopped working. I addressed this issue to the developer, he checked the settings and said that I needed to contact technical support OpenAi. I don’t understand where I need to go to solve my problem. I have all my bills paid and no debts. Maybe someone knows what problem I have with the application.

Hello,
Do you have a log file or any error message that you can share?

Neither you nor the developer bothered checking the status of OpenAi and realize that it was no “high error rate” at times during the last 2 days? I would fire the developer - utter incompetence comes to my mind. You develop in a cloud space, you should be aware of how to see and handle AND LOG issues on the backend.

The problem is that I just use an API key to make my application work. To check, I connected a proxy and everything worked. But the proxy server needs to be paid additionally and I would not like to rent it. If my API key works through a proxy server, what could happen and why the bots stopped responding to my requests just when connecting via API. There was probably some kind of blockage. I can’t understand, maybe the site’s IP was blocked and how to check it.

Your developer (or you if you have access) should have an idea of what’s going on and not be leading you blindly to support.

As mentioned, if you can provide us with some logs we can help you understand what’s going on.

Where is your current server located?

Again, your developer should be able to provide you with some more information.

This is already a proxy server through CloudFlare.

I don’t think there’s anymore insights here until some logs can be shown

If you are located in Russia then I believe(?) you should have never had access to OpenAI services in the first place.

If your server is blocked because it’s in Russia, I think you must pay for the proxy or a VPN or change the hosting. Additionally, generate another API key to test your app again.

In any case, don’t expect any support from OpenAI. There just isn’t any.

No, I don’t live in Russia. I am from Germany.

Were you relying on your developer to host your sever?
