I’ve started work on a custom GPT to use in my business. I created it on my personal account then realised that it couldn’t be shared until I had a Team account, which I now have.
The problem is that I need to move the GPT from my personal to my Team account, so that it can be accessed by other team members.
Does anyone know if there is an easy way to do that?
It should offer you a way to combine the old plus account to your teams .

DON"T DO THAT, not only your personal account will disappear, all your data will disappear too, nothing will be merged into your team workplace. and there is no human customer service AT ALL. the only way you can do is what I am doing, come to this forum to complain.
Same thing happened to me. This was 100% the reason why I upgraded to Team. I clicked to merge a 18 months of data and GPTs disappeared. Nothing was merged. Cannot get back to my personal account.
Ah, the same thing has just happened to me! I’m infuriated.
Right, I was able to contact support via the help option (bottom right).
You have to work your way through the automated responses. I chose that I had login/account access issues and then explained my problem. This reached a person and then worked to a resolution such that they were able to retrieve my chats!
Hopefully this has allowed them to identify a bug and prevent other people experiencing this shock.
For the record they made no promises and informed me it might have been lost permanently. I imagine they’ll have retention periods on the deleted data (such that the data is soft deleted for a number of days before being purged). Had I waited to contact them, it may not have been possible.
did you finally retrieve your old chats?
Yep, I got it back and was able to continue working on some documents I had in progress.
Does it tranfer all your chats, or can you pick and choose which ones to move?
Wondering if they fixed the bug that prevented merges. Has anyone tried to merge lately?
Not really… I had the same problem…
Just part of my chats were imported.

But ChatGPT seems to have kept the knowledge nearly up to date, so I can exchange with him to continue what I was working on with him.
But it clearly made me loss 2 or 3 months of work with it…

All my folders with my notes are suddenly gone..

Nevermind after 5-10 minutes they all came back as intended – lovely.
What about memory? Will all memory from personal accout get migrated to business workspace?
I just upgraded from a personal to a biz acct, months of folders/projects were lost and countless time and money. I’m hoping this can be remedied.
