Why is the following message a regular occurrence on ChatGPT while I’m working?
“It seems that some of the files you’ve previously uploaded have expired. If you’d like me to review or refer to any of those documents, please re-upload them, and I’ll be glad to assist!”
If anyone has a solution, then that would be great. It’s 3pm here in the UK and I still have another 4hrs left in me before I sign off for the evening.

According to OpenAI’s help pages::
Files uploaded are deleted within a duration that varies based on your plan. After that point, files are deleted and will need to be re-uploaded to re-engage.
However, no specific time (in minutes) is given for when files are deleted.
From my experience, files are generally deleted between 15-30 minutes. But how the system determines the exact deletion time isn’t clearly explained.

I’m consistently getting this message quite often now. And it’s not a matter of the file timing out. Because I’m getting this immediately on the prompt that I attach the file to. If I try to attach the file again, I continue to get this error message. Sometimes attachments work, and then all of a sudden, I’ll start getting this error message for every single file I attach. No matter what. Even if I start a new prompt. Even if I re-upload the file. Even if I change the type of file. Even if I try to attach a completely different file.These are simple files like a TXT, DOCX, or PDF and I still get this error message continuously once I start getting it. and then the next day things work for a while and then I start getting this error again.
