Good morning everyone,
I switched from a PLUS profile to a TEAM profile.
I created a workspace for the group and then invited a new member as per procedure.
When the new member accepted the email invitation, he created his personal account and then logged in. He found the workspace completely empty, although previously created conversations were present in the workspace. The first mistake is that the new member can only see the (empty) team workspace and does not have his own personal workspace.
The member has been deleted from the group and a new invitation has been sent to this member (to the same email used previously).
The member then accepted the invitation (as he had done previously) and this time the personal workspace was also created with the possibility of switching workspace between personal and corporate (team) but without the possibility of seeing the conversations in the space of corporate (team) work.
If the member creates a conversation in the corporate (team) workspace, it is only seen by him but not by other members and vice versa.
Basically the corporate (team) workspace is a workspace where only the creator sees the conversations but cannot share them with others.
How do you share conversations between members of the same group? It seems impossible. I’m incredibly frustrated because now these two accounts work exactly as two PLUS accounts without any possibility to share contents.
yes there is a big mistake for the simple fact that the support on chatgpt is totally inadequate especially when there is a paid business profile such as a “team” profile with the sharing functions completely not working and the only form of support it is a dialogue box in which it is said that the answers arrive within 3 days, while the deadlines are not respected and the problems persist. It’s exactly like selling a bicycle that is then shipped without the wheels. If the customer cannot cycle, the supplier should do it, so that the customer can also use the bike.
I just upgraded to the team workspace and wish I had found this forum first! I have opened a chat with support but haven’t received a reply yet. I’m infuriated that I paid for one month for two members, myself and a team member. Only to learn the hard way that we can’t see each other’s chats nor can we collaboratively interact with them. It says on the FAQs for shared links to chats that they have “deprecated” continuing a chat conversation for users on all levels of ChatGPT. What’s the point of paying more money for less features ChatGPT support . Y’all need to fix this and until then, I expect a full refund!
Is this still a thing? I just realized I cannot see what my team mate create on the workspace, and he cannot access my work either. SO why is it so completely impossible to get any information anywhere how to circumvent or resolve this issue? And why is the support not available like they say they will be in the help faq?
I agree in the frustration in this and I want my money back basically, paying for a full month getting nothing!
Is this still an issue, in January 2025?
I just created a Team account and can’t see my team member’s Projects/Chats, and they can’t see mine. Did I just pay extra for personal Pro accounts for no reason? This can’t be on purpose, right? Where’s the collaboration functionality?
Yes, as far as I know, this happened to me too. I never received a refund or any reply to my email to support either. Paid over $60 for two seats and found out the hard way. There is no collaborative platform as far as I am aware. Don’t know why they even offer a Team level plan because it doesn’t operate the way one would perceive that it should.
Can some one OpenAI address this request. We are impacted.
Very much an issue. No one on my team account can see projects or chats in the workspace. I only spent 90 bucks, but I feel like the fact that I don’t even try to help you is robbery
so are any of you just canceling your team members’ account and then keeping one business account for everyone to log in to? it seems like that’s the only functionality we have anyway
