I would love to be part of a project like this:

Hear me out: A subscription text based D&D game with an AI DM. Subscribers can play D&D and the AI actually stores and remembers each session and world state updating it in real time, it can also be played multiplayer if another player is not subscribed the subscribed player can invite them to play in their session, also if a subscriber want to host an online session with multiple players and be the DM instead of the AI they can and will have the AI as a second brain giving the DM insights and enhancing their storytelling as well as keeping track of key information and generating custom and or random maps and keeping track of all the maps made and blending it in a world map. Also other games can work with this one to enhance it like leaving a set of rules and commands with voice examples so the AI uses them so if the subscriber wants he can add an AI to their games. Like for example mount and blade bannerlord enhanced with a consistent AI that can manage player-NPCs interaction and world state in a consistent and non-erratic way without fully affecting the game and it’s main campaign (though some players might want to play a fully customizable game with quest that appear from your previous actions instead of fixed quests)

It will serve as a developing tool, virtual assistant and DMing tool. A subscription would be required to maintain servers tho

It’s a dream but wouldn’t it be cool.

I haven’t personally played it but yeah kinda.
I personally don’t like the idea of subscription based games but understanding there’s server maintenance costs makes it understandable in special if a lot of energy is used so I would love it to be not only a game but also a tool so you can see it more like an investment than a subscription to another game. Besides it’s just an idea I’m sharing without a good team, investors and a lot of time and experience I don’t think it’s possible, it might be worth it for the long run investment and the technological advance but besides that is just a dream that someone with more funds and experience might want to take.

If anyone is interested they might want scaling first; start small focusing on D&D and DMing while also gathering and encouraging developers to use the AI to their liking and once revenue start producing start expanding as a developing tool it’s value would depend on how many outside games would add the AI as an extension, to encourage this, part of the subscription could go towards the developers based on how many subscribers play their game with this system while this could also encourage players to enhance their favorite games with this AI
