I tried to log in chatgpt with a google account.However, I tried many times always show
"Welcome to ChatGPT
Log in with your OpenAI account to continue " Then I clicked continue login with google account then it loop again, Show the page ""Welcome to ChatGPT
Log in with your OpenAI account to continue ".

Any one can help me?

I am having the exact same issue and it sucks as I am paying and rarely get to have access.

The status page shows that there are no issues right now.

This might be the same issue other people here have been experiencing.

Which errors appear when you right-click the webpage, choose inspect, open the console tab, and then attempt to login to OpenAI?

You might try the following fix: Right-click the page, choose inspect, go to the network tab, disable the cache, and with the dev console still open, reload the page.

This did not work at all. It is weird as I can login on Firefox on any other device and no problem. If I log on with this laptop it is a loop. if i change browsers to edge it will let me log in.

@shackelfords0416 That sounds like it might be a browser-specific issue. Try visiting from a private or incognito window in the problem web browser. This will bypass any extensions and cookie-related issues. If this still doesn’t work, what country are you located in?

Are you able to access ChatGPT if you use Firefox?

Is the image of the browser’s console taken after you attempted to login?

Try hard refreshing the page. Worked for me

Yeah that does not work. it works on all other devices using firefox. It also is a login loop only on firefox if i go to edge no loop.

I downloaded firefox on my phone still the same, however, I used another google account different email that I can login.

If the following options don’t work, you should contact support regarding your account.

  • Try and login to platform.openai (for example, the playground)
  • Refresh cache
  • Try using a fresh browser ( Do not use incognito mode )
  • Try a different computer/phone
  • Make a new account and try with that on a new browser/computer

Used brave browser, now used chrome, but same issue.

CHATGPT is the bbb one. Sometimes it ok to get in sometimes is locked and unknow reason and need to wait for a couple days later suddenly you can get in. I am using the bard of google instead. It is the product from google AI, it is way way better. No worry on the login issue.
