How to become eligible for data residency endpoints?

Hi,

My company (we develop an AI web agent) has around 70 larger paying customers who need to use LLMs hosted in Europe. Currently, I’m using Azure OpenAI, but I’m not satisfied with it — it doesn’t support priority processing, vector databases, it’s generally slower, etc…

OpenAI mentions a data residency endpoint (in the EU) available for eligible customers, but there’s no information on how to become an eligible customer. I’ve contacted the sales team multiple times via the web form, but I always receive an automated reply directing me to use the API as a developer.

Here are some snippets from the OpenAI website:

Please, how can I become an eligible customer? Contact sales team doesnt work.

Thank you — this is very important for me and my business.

Nobody knows? Its very important for us.

Still havent any informations :frowning:

Perhaps if you send again to sales, and talk in terms of “VC funded startup”, “corporate compliance”, “service agreement”, “ZDR amendment”, “monthly billings”, “sales contract”, “annual volume”, then they would respond instead of shuffling you off as noise. Speak their language, where “see if your eligible for (Enterprise)” is in the ballpark of a quarter-million a year.

Or Azure, where your deployment hosting is simply your choice: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/explore/global-infrastructure/data-residency

Thank you, i wil try it!

Azure isnt a good choice because we need priority procesing, file search tool, etc.
