Chicken and egg dilemma of EU data residency

Been waiting on a response from the sales submission form for quite some time now, I presume its not coming.

I am running a startup and have completed a proof of value with the first customer, very succesfully, they want to roll out the product across the national organisation.
Once live will generate a decent throughput and use of tokens / API charges. However I can never go live if I don’t have data residency in the EU.

But I don’t think I can get data residency in the EU if there is no response on the sales form (Probably because I choose the company size 1-10) and they have bigger fish.

Ironically if we secure this and the deal is signed, employee numbers will go up quickly!

Chicken and egg situation it seems.

Any advice on alternate ways I could try get data residency in EU enabled for me?

Hi!
Take a look at this topic and specifically the last reply.

Hope this helps!

Yep. Azure is an absolute pain to use, but realistically it’s what you need to use in the EU. On the plus side the name ‘Microsoft’ assuages a lot of nervous buyers - it shouldn’t but it does.

There is also this. You should give it a shot.
