GPT-4 has no response then "Something went wrong"

I don’t think we’ve been shadowbanned by hardware ID. Because some guys tried by multiple devices but still not working. I think it’s related to our accounts.

Let’s test another theory, did any of you get the mail 10 days ago(23-24th March) that another user has seen the billing information from your account when it got the bug that kept it down a few hours?

No. I only joined Plus 5 days ago. Never seen an email like that…

It all looks like a server side problem. I cleared the cache and tried different devices.

No email. Haven’t seen any email from OpenAI. I subscribed Plus since March. Everything works fine since last Monday. Then GPT4 became really weird and completely no response yesterday.

I heard there are a lot of accounts being banned recently. If that’s the reason, I don’t see why they do this to my account.

I’m using my Google account to log in btw.

I’m pretty sure the singularity will start like this.

I am so sad, it’s a unhappy feeling. openAI’s workers please fix it faster!!! I CAN’T reiceve gpt-4 respons

My friends’ accounts are working, but mine sucks. Have tried all ways (clear cache, multiple devices, log out and in, restart the computer, etc.), but failed.

I’ve been having problem since Saturday with GPT-4. It just timed out and then spit out a generic error message that wasn’t helpful. I even tried their support chatbot. Ironically, the support chat bot is really horrible!!

I got it. This is a community, not a support channel. There is none. You can cancel your subscription (means no access) or you can wait and pay for waiting.

It all appears to be a server-side error, and it’s most likely a load balancing issue. We are unfortunate to be redirected to the GTP4 servers with degraded performance. In all estimates, it’s more than 1K servers, and with 100M users, we are just a small fraction of all users. Less than 0.1% might be even 0.01%. Being such a minority and adding how young OpenAI is in terms of support and reliability we can easily wait for a week before this restart button will be hit by someone :slight_smile:

Well I didn’t sign the Musk letter and did not write naughty stuff. I do pay a subscription though and I’m pretty sure that suspension of a paid service with absolutely no notice, explanation or recourse is illegal.
