My company’s OpenAI account just got banned from my account for “Distillation” under false pretenses. I sent an appeal for a production-facing application with no response. I started another account, and they banned me for “Recidivism”. Not sure how to proceed if they are banning associated IP’s.
What we actually do:
Bot that uses LangGraph to give reports from the DB
Image Analysis on marketing creative
The account had its key rotated after $100 in unexpected use was detected. Maybe that’s what caused the flag?!?, but it was immediately rotated and locked down by IP, and it was a week before the ban.
I saw others post with no one responding; do we know what the response time should be on appeals?
Any options for a production system that cannot go down?
