EU data residency : Sales form broken for 10 days, stuck in support loop

I’ve read the existing threads on this topic before posting:

  • Chicken and egg dilemma of EU data residency

None of them resolve my situation because they all assume the Sales form works. Mine doesn’t and I have proof.

The specific problem:
The Contact Sales form silently fails on submission. I identified the root cause in a HAR file: Cloudflare Turnstile returns 401 Unauthorized on the challenge endpoint, blocking form submission with no visible error. Reproduced across multiple browsers, incognito, multiple sessions over 10 days. Screen recording and HAR submitted to support, no action taken.

Support has confirmed they cannot escalate to Sales internally without a successful form submission. This means I am physically unable to initiate the EU data residency process through the documented path.

My situation:

  • Server: Railway Amsterdam, Vision API calls timeout 90%+ of the time to US endpoints, succeed instantly locally

  • Need: for both GDPR compliance and to fix the timeout issue

Questions:

  1. Has anyone found a working path to Sales or the data residency team that does not go through the contact form?

  2. Any OpenAI staff happy to share my support case number and full documentation (HAR, screen recording) in DM.
