Iā€™m having the exact same problem, can anyone point me in the right direction? For two days now Iā€™ve been having problems not a single prompt will give me images. Iā€™m met with an error creating images ā€¦Iā€™m on a subscription which pisses me off even more

Iā€™m glad its not just ME thatā€™s having issues, Iā€™m getting the same message that it has run into a problem and cannot generate ANY image. 2 days this has been going on.

Well Iā€™m not glad we are having problems, but you know what I meanā€¦

itā€™s working today, I guess it was an issue with them, the servers, or something else.

Iā€™ve had this happen about 3-4 times. you just need to create a new chat and its resolved. Unfortunately this renders this particular chat window useless though, but the images you created are still there. Just copy the last prompt you were working on into a new chat and you should be good to go again.

Try a different very simple prompt. ā€˜photo of a ginger catā€™ or something, just to be sure its not because of a complicated prompt you are asking it to generate. if it canā€™t even show you an image of the cat in a brand new chat window. close your whole browser, clear caches, etc just to ensure there are no cache crap going on. log out and in, all the usual stuff. Try again with the cat prompt.

In that case I suggest the following prompt;

An image of a circle.

Because it looks like all the other images will be forbidden.

I tried the circle and it worked.
But Iā€™m not able to create other images as well.

I am half-way transition (I mean, my ChatGPTā€¦) I think.

I still see the old interface, but the dedicated ā€œall in one chatā€ is available, besides the dedicated Dall-E model.

When I ask for a polaroid depicting the style of the '80s the ā€œall in one modelā€ says this is a forbidden prompt.

  1. Polaroid is a brand
  2. The '80s is not at least 100 years old (technically correctā€¦)

So I am not allowed to make a ā€œPolaroidā€ photo, in the style of the '80s.

But when I try the exact same prompt in the ā€œoldā€ Dall-E3 model, I do get my fancy Polaroid.

Now the old link I used to see to access DALLE 3 from within ChatGPT plus is gone, and this is what I see today. I found another thread that says that now you just ask for an image in the regular ChatGPT input box, however no matter what I ask for I get the same error message shown. I canā€™t tell if the problem is that Iā€™m not actually accessing DALLE 3 image generator or if the image generator is kaput.
