DALL-E and lighting problems

I asked DALL-E to generate a number of different landscapes, which of course is not a problem. However, on all of them the light source is opposite the viewer and the shadows fall towards him. When I asked for different lighting - DALL-E ignores this and does things its own way. I even wrote a prompt: “Generate any landscape with lighting from the side, or from the viewer’s side with shadows falling accordingly”. Also to no avail. The GPT chat explains it with training material, but after all, many classic images have different lighting.

How can this be explained and how can this limitation possibly be circumvented?

Thank you in advance for any help.
Greetings,
Marek.
